The AI Reality Check session

Half a day with your leadership team or board. You look at your own team's answers together, surface where you disagree, and decide where to restart. You leave with decisions, not a presentation.

AI Reality Check

The Board's AI Agenda

What should the board ask, decide and monitor on AI strategy, risk and return? For directors and owners who need to oversee AI without becoming technologists.

From Pilots to Profit

Which AI initiatives do we scale, fix or stop, and where will AI create most value? For companies with activity everywhere and value nowhere.

Half day

How it works

  1. Before. A 30-minute call with the CEO or chair to agree the focus. Each participant completes this check anonymously, so the session starts from your team's own data.
  2. During. Your team sees its combined results, including where leaders disagree. A structured pre-mortem surfaces the risks people rarely say out loud, and silent individual input keeps the loudest voice from setting the agenda.
  3. The close. The team agrees the three questions that matter most, each with an owner and a date, and decides whether a deeper, evidence-based diagnosis is worth it.
  4. After. Within five working days you receive a two-page summary: your first-read Stall Map, the agreed questions and a clear recommendation.

What you leave with

  • A shared, honest picture of where AI stands, built from your team's own answers
  • Your likely restart point and the stall points holding you back
  • Three questions with owners and dates
  • A go or no-go on the next step, decided by your team
  • A two-page summary you can take to your board

Why it is worth half a day

  • It shows where the money is not working before more of it is spent
  • It puts disagreement in the top team on the table early, when it is cheap to resolve
  • It turns a vague worry about AI into a few concrete decisions
  • It is a fixed fee, agreed in advance, with no obligation to continue
